Aoa audio extractor bit rate12/3/2023 If VirtualDub can't extract the audio, you can try using AoA Audio Extractor or SUPER (both also FREE!!!). (Can VirtualDub do that?) Then, edit the WAV file, and then save it as MP3. I will look into using another app if I can't find a solution with using GoldWave.Īnother option would be to extract the audio to a WAV file before editing. If you can get a good WAV file, you can convert it to MP3 with RazorLame or XRECODE (both FREE!!!). If you can get a good WAV file, that confirms a problem with the MP3 encoding. What bitrate (kbps) are you using when you save the MP3? (I don't think a low bitrate will make it sound "double", but it will degrade the quality.) When I open the avi in Goldwave it's fine. This only happens after you save? When you open the AVI file in GoldWave it plays OK? What I may do is upload a sample so you can see what I'm refering too. NewDude420: You're going way over my head Are you saying I need to delete the other file? It was installed with the k-lite codec pack I use. I do have another copy of the lame_enc.dll in another folder, I just copied that to the goldwave dir. I suspected it may be a codec problem but why doesn't it happen when encoding an mp3 in VirtualDubMod? I seriously suspect that SOMETHING in the chain.and I suspect a codec, is screwing things up. The improper stereo/mono setting will do the same ay a stereo file as mono without mixing it to mono and you'll get double playback. ![]() In reality, software is the key to the sample thing.I can feed 48khz 20-bit direct from my satellite reciever in to my optical input and if i tell my card to use raw mode, while I might tell goldwave to record 44.1khz, the sound hardware is outputting raw information.so you wind up laying down 48,000 samples a second but GW thinks it's supposed to have 44,100 sec.in my case, the file played fine once set to 48khz playback rate (as I expected). So if you say have something that's 22.050 khz sampling rate, but you tell Goldwave to play it back at 44.1, you get double sound. One can adjust the "playback" rate and change the amount of samples it plays back. Sampling rate is in reality, just that, the number of samples per second you're recording or playing back. Launch the program and select the task you want to perform: audio converter, audio extractor or sound recorder.Īdd the files you want to process by clicking the "Add Files" button or by dragging and dropping them into the program window.Ĭhoose the output format and the output folder for the converted or extracted files.Ĭlick the "Start" button to begin the conversion or extraction process. The only things that would cause double-speed playback, aside from the play control being set to 2.0, are two things improper playback rate and improper stereo/mono selection. ![]() How to use AoA Audio Extractor Platinum 2.2.9 64 Bit:ĭownload and install AoA Audio Extractor Platinum 2.2.9 64 Bit from the official website or from one of the references below.
